يعد موضوع " حقوق السجين " من الموضوعات التي تجمع بين الأصالة والمعاصرة ، وأن تمتع السجين بحقوقه الأصيلة أو التكميلية يساهم في إعادة تأهيليه، وإدماجه مرة أخرى عنصرا صالحا في المجتمع . وفي ضوء ما تقدم ينبغي على الإدارة العقابية أن تسعى جاهدة لتحقيق تلك الحقوق للسجين، وعدم الافتئات عليها سعيا لتجسيد مبادئ جديدة لحقوق الإنسان في السجون في ظل الاستراتيجية الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان التي تتبناها الدولة المصرية في الآونة الأخيرة.

The subject of "prisoner's rights" is considered one of the subjects which combines authenticity and contemporary. The prisoner's enjoying his primary or supplementary rights contributes to his rehabilitation, and integrate him into community in order to be a good person in society. In light of the above, prison administration should strive to achieve these rights to prisoners and not violate them, in order to create new principles of human rights in jails, amidst national strategy for human rights which adopted by the Egyptian state recently.
