من خلال هذه الدراسة وضحنا المفهوم الواسع لاصطلاح الطعن الانتخابى فى القانونين المصري والبحريني ليشمل اى طعن يتصل بالعملية الانتخابية واجراءتها سواء السابقة على عملية التصويت كشروط الترشيح وترسيم الدوائر الانتخابية مرورا بعملية التصويت وكذلك فقد تبنى كل من المشرعين المصري والبحريني المبدأ القضائى الذى يمنح الحق لكل من الناخب والمترشح فى الطعن على العملية الانتخابية بحسب الاحوال تماشيا مع مبدأ الديمقراطية

In this study, we explained the broad concept of the electoral appeal in the Egyptian and Bahraini laws to include any appeal related to the electoral process and its procedures, whether prior to the voting process such as the conditions of nomination and the demarcation of the constituencies through the voting process. Both Egyptian and Bahrain legislators adopted the judicial principle, Voter and candidate to challenge the electoral process according to the situation in line with the principle of democracy.
We found that there is a conflict of jurisdiction in adjudicating the appeals related to the electoral process between the administrative judiciary and the ordinary judiciary in Egypt. Ultimately, the matter was decided in favor of the administrative judiciary. As for the status of the Bahraini legislator, the jurisdiction was assigned to adjudicating the electoral appeals to a judicial committee supervising the integrity of the referendum and the election.
