إن موضوع دراسة شركات السمسرة (الوساطة) في سوق الأوراق المالية: يعد واحداً من المواضيع الهامة في المجتمعات الاقتصادية الحديثة: وهذه الأهمية راجعة بالدرجة الأساس إلى أن عمليات تداول الأوراق المالية في البورصة لا يمكن أن تتم إلا عن طريق تلك الشركات: التي اهتمت القوانين المقارنة بتنظيم أغلب الجوانب التي تتعلق بها: حيث تبحث هذه الدراسة في التنظيم القانوني لشركات السمسرة ومسئوليتها القانونية دراسة مقارنة وتحديد الإطار العام لها بشكل مفصل وبحثت الدراسة أيضا عن الالتزامات الملقاة على عاتق شركات السمسرة مقابل الحقوق التي تتمتع بها: بالإضافة إلى الكيفية التي يتم بموجبها تنفيذ أوامر العملاء والرقابة على أدائها من قبل الجهات المختصة في السوق. وتمخضت الدراسة فى مجملها فى عرض مواقف القوانين المقارنة من المواضيع التى تم تناولها وكشفت مواطن القصور وتباين الآراء ووجهات النظر وإزاءها والحلول الواجب أتباعها
