بعد موضوع العدالة من الموضوعات المهمة التي احتلت مكانة مهمة في الوقت الحالي، والواقع أن مسألة العدالة ليست وليدة العصر الحالي، وإنما هي قديمة قدم الإنسانية، وتشكل جزءا لا يتجزأ من تاريخها، فقد ارتبطت بالمجتمعات البشرية منذ الخليقة، فكانت مصر الفرعونية أول من طبقت العدالة في مختلف أنظمتها، وكانت روح القانون لديهم وتأثر بها الإغريق والرومان، كما ارتبطت العدالة بالشرائع السماوية وآخرها الشريعة الإسلامية التي جاءت ومن أهدافها تحقيق العدالة وإقرار حقوق الإنسان وحمايتها، ومن الأجواء العالمية المعاصرة التي أعادت تقدير العدالة وأقامت لها محرابها وصبغتها بصبغة إنسانية، وتجسدت العدالة عندهم في حماية حقوق الإنسان واحترامه والبحث عن هذه العدالة في القانون الدولي الإنساني ووقوع
الجزاء على من ينتهك هذه القواعد.

The subject of Equality is considered one of the most important subjects that currently occupied an important place. In fact, the subject matter of Equality is not an emergent matter in the current age but it is an ancient matter with the same age of humanity and is an integral part of its history since it is related with the human communities since the creation of man. By examination, we can find out that Ancient Egypt was the first country to apply equality in all its various systems. It had the spirit of law. The Greeks and The Romans were affected by equality. Equality has been related with the heavenly Religions. Islamic Sharia is the last one to be related with Equality whose one of its goals is to implement equality among people and to declare human rights and to protect them. The modern world systems reassessed Equality and assigned a niche for it. They also gave it the human impression. To whom, Equality is represented in protecting human rights and to apply the penalty upon the person who violates such rules.
