Many people resort to using these virtual currencies in financial, commercial, economic, environmental and other circumstances and crises.<br/>However, there are risks and challenges resulting from the use of these currencies, which include the crime of money laundering, trade in illegal goods and financing terrorist operations. These currencies also face legal and regulatory problems that affect the economy and financial and banking stability in countries. In order to protect the economy and financial and banking structure in countries, governments and international organizations must cooperate in developing legislation, policies and regulatory procedures related to the use of encrypted virtual currencies.<br/>These currencies must be adequately monitored and supervised by the competent regulatory authorities, and the necessary measures must be taken to prevent financial exploitation crimes and other crimes related to these currencies.<br/>Virtual currencies are characterized by their reliance on blockchain technology, which is a relatively immature technology that may create multiple problems in terms of the quality of the solutions they provide. |
