| Summary, etc. | تزداد أهمية نظام الإجراءات الجزائية عن بعد لا سيما في ظل الأزمات التي تتعرض لها الدولة، ولا أدل على ذلك من انتشار وباء كورونا، والذي تعطلت بسببه الكثير من المصالح، وتم غلق العديد من الجهات، ومن هنا يأتي أهمية تطبيق نظام الإجراءات الجزائية عن بعد، نظرًا لما يمثله من أهمية في حماية المتقاضين والقضاة على حد سواء. <br/>وفي الحقيقة إن نظام الإجراءات الجزائية عن بعد ليس بالنظام الجديد أو الغريب، بل هو نظام مطبق في معظم دول العالم، ويُذكر أن هناك العديد من الدول العربية ليست بمعزل عن هذا التطور الذي حدث في مجال التقاضي. <br/>وخير مثال على ذلك دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة التي أصدرت القرار الوزاري رقم (۲۵۹) لسنة ۲۰۱۹م في شأن الدليل الإجرائي لتنظيم التقاضي باستخدام الوسائل الإلكترونية والاتصال عن بعد في الإجراءات الجزائية، والقرار الوزاري رقم (٢٦۰) لسنة ۲۰۱۹ في شأن الدليل الإجرائي لتنظيم التقاضي باستخدام الوسائل الإلكترونية والاتصال عن بعد في الإجراءات المدنية، وكذلك القانون الاتحادي رقم (٥) لسنة ۲۰۱۷ في شأن استخدام تقنية الاتصال عن بعد في الإجراءات الجزائية. |

| Summary, etc. | The importance of the remote criminal procedure system is growing, especially in light of the crises facing the country. The most evident evidence of this is the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has disrupted many businesses and led to the closure of numerous entities. Hence, the importance of implementing the remote criminal procedure system, given its importance in protecting litigants and judges alike. <br/>In fact, the remote criminal procedures system is neither new nor unusual. Rather, it is a system already which is applied in most countries around the world. It's worth noting that many Arab countries are not immune to this development in the field of litigation. <br/>The best example of this is the United Arab Emirates, which issued Ministerial Resolution No. 259 of 2019 regarding the procedural guide for regulating litigation using electronic means and remote communication in criminal procedures, and Ministerial Resolution No. 260 of 2019 regarding the procedural guide for regulating litigation using electronic means and remote communication in civil procedures, As well as Federal Law No. (5) of 2017 regarding the use of remote communication technology in criminal proceedings |
